Meet the long-term residents of 158 North Street

Chacclan

Mia

Mia is a homebred success. Foaled by a former 1.60 jumper and sired by Quickstar, Beth had the unique opportunity to develop Mia right from the start. Over her young career, Mia experienced many accomplishments, including winning the 6 year-old final at WEF and achieving reserve in the Zone 4 Horse of the Year 7 year-old division. Later in their career together, Beth and Mia continued to experience many wins, including two 1.40 amateur classes at Spruce Meadows in 2019 and a 2018 2* Welcome in Tryon, North Carolina. Beth and Mia also placed 3rd in the 2018 Grand Prix of Lexington at the Kentucky National Horse Show and 6th in the Osphos Grand Prix in Wellington, Florida. Mia now enjoys competing in the amateur divisions and teaching young riders about the jumper division.

Socks

The smallest farm resident we have! Socks is a Welsh pony owned and ridden by Beth and Adolpho’s daughter Emma. Socks was born at a farm just down the road in Mattapoisett and has returned to 158 North Street to retire near his birthplace.
